Old comforts

Right now is xmas holidays, which means a little bit of work, bit more sleep than normal and a butt load of revision. I've been trying to enjoy it, and the lightness it brings, knowing I don't have to drag myself to sixth form has been pretty uplifting.
The real reason though, is that I know 2009 will be hard. Starting off with January exams and finishing with working by myself abroad. This last piece of 2008 is a last chance to feel that lightness, at least for a while.
This evening I met up with my oldest, most precious friends, the 'fangirls'. Called so, because...yes > we fangirl ¬¬...like insane people. Spending a few hours with them, drinking wine, reminiscing about the old times really made me happy and made me realise I need to stop being so serious.
2009 is gonna be the year of change, the year we seperate, go off to uni, abroad and start being 'adults'. But, like I felt this evening, they will always be there. The bond we share will always be there. We can go for months without seeing each other, but when we do meet up, it's like nothing has changed.

Definately comforting :) 2009 will be the year of change, but then I guess some things never change.

Space to fill...

After months of following other people's blogs, I finally gave in.
So here it is, like a new born baby, so innocent and clean.

I thought having a blog would be a good kind of therapy, a place to get down thoughts, opinions and photos of times I normally just let slip by.

Or it will be a complete mess.

Well, here's to new beginnings!
